Cats in Singapore

Here are pics of cats I’ve encountered in Singapore the last time I was there. As a cat lover,  I have also been worried about cats in SG following the recent haze crisis that affected the country.

Most of them have already been spayed/neutered as evidenced by nipped left ear.

Oh my whiskers – she saw me! Must back away slowly…

Touch me and the claws come out.

I’m glad that SG’s Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) curently indicate that air quality there is back to good. My brother who’s based there called home June 20, the second day when the PSI readings reached unhealthy levels. He said that while they could see the HDB building opposite theirs, the one across the street was hazy. Heh. I asked if it smells like anything and he said it’s like burning leaves. Imagine folks burning heaps of leaves (nagsisiga) that your street is enveloped by smoke. Now imagine that smoke enveloping a country. Awful!
